Join me for this 45-minute hatha-style yoga practice to help you experience inner peace, bliss, and presence as you connect and active your Crown Chakra. The Crown Chakra is considered the highest and most spiritually significant of the seven major chakras of our energetic system. It acts as a bridge, connecting your consciousness to divine consciousness which can lead to spiritual awareness, a sense of unity (love for all beings) and oneness, and the ability to transcend limitations that the physical world typically creates (e.g. ego, materialism, suffering). Because of that, you can experience a deep sense of inner peace and bliss.
Of course, when this particular chakra is a little 'off' - unbalanced, inactive or overactive, you may experience the complete opposite: feeling disconnected, lack of spiritual connection or interest, skepticism or closed mindedness, mental fog, or depression and anxiety. Physically you may experience for example, head related discomfort such as headache and migraines or insomnia.
During today's practice, you'll be working with the energy of the crown chakra and exploring poses that relate to the top of the head. So roll out your beautiful mat and press play to begin! (If you'd like to skip the into, go to 00:58).
I'd love to hear how you found this beautiful session, so let me know!
Namaste, Erin xx
