Yoga for Tight Calf Muscles and Hamstrings
Lower Body
•
37m
Ease tight calf muscles and hamstrings with this gentle 35-minute hatha yoga practice for all levels. Our calves and hamstrings can get super tight when we're seated for long periods of time or even when we're exercising them regularly without sending a whole lot of love their way. This can create lower back issues and a general feeling of inflexibility. So, why not give this yoga practice a go and start finding some flexibility and ease in the calves and hammies!
You will need one yoga block or a book (something you can stand on that's a similar height to a block - approximately 10 centres or 4 inches), and a yoga strap (but if you don't have - no probs! You can use a belt, scarf, long towel, or resistance band if you have one). So grab those things, roll out your mat and hit play! (Yoga practice begins at 01:17 if you want to skip the intro).
I hope you can ease some tension in the lower legs. Let me know how you go!
Namaste, Erin xx
